Dr. Bosse has over 25 years of experience, having spent five years as an associate veterinarian in very busy small animal practices in Atlanta and Lexington before acquiring Commonwealth Animal Hospital. His areas of expertise include management of the practice and his ability to perform complicated surgical procedures. Dr. Bosse performs many orthopedic procedures including cruciate ligament repair and patellar luxation repair, fracture plating and external fixation, femoral head osteotomies, bulla osteotomies and also is certified to provide PennHIP radiographs.

Dr. McClure has six years of experience as a veterinarian, as well as several years of experience as a veterinary technician in busy emergency hospitals in California and Knoxville, Tennessee. Dr. McClure’s special interests are: emergency medicine, geriatric patient care, dermatology, oncology, and soft tissue surgery. She has also added ultrasonography to our practice, which has provided an invaluable diagnostic tool. Dr. McClure also provides care to pocket pets, ferrets, and rabbits on occasion.

Dr. Phillips has nineteen years of experience as a veterinarian, spending his first six years in a busy multi-doctor mixed animal practice in Central Kentucky. He enjoys challenging medical and surgical cases and performs management duties at our affiliate practice. Areas of particular interest are endocrinology cases and ophthalmology cases. He offers an array of surgical options to our clients including thyroidectomies, perineal ureterostomies and minor ophthalmic procedures.
