Sherry is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology from Morehead State University. She has been with Commonwealth since August 2017. She has a special interest in rehabilitation therapy and her favorite breed is Austrailian Shepherd. She is married and lives in Danville with her husband and two Aussies, Tucker and Bindi.

Gina has been with us the longest, since 1995. She works part-time as a veterinary assistant and is a retired firefighter from the Danville City Fire Department. She is certified in small animal CPR and First Aid. Gina served on the board of directors with Danville Boyle County Humane Society. She spent a few years showing dogs in obedience and conformation classes. Gina is a proud mother of one daughter. She enjoys spending time with her husband Gary and their two horses, three cats, and five dogs. She gives horseback riding and showmanship lessons. When Gina is not working she enjoys trail riding and showing horses.

Katie has worked at Commonwealth since November 2011. She graduated from Midway College with a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Management in 2009, but was surprised to find she had a passion for small animal veterinary assisting and is happy to have found her calling. She has a special interest in surgery and pain management and also helps some with hospital management. In her free time, she enjoys ministry work and working outdoors on her property. She lives in rural Harrodsburg with her dog, River and 2 cats.

Luke Bosse has worked throughout high school and college at Commonwealth since May 2010. He graduated from Western Kentucky University’s pre-vet program with high honors and is in his 3rd year at Auburn University in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program. He was the president of his fraternity – Sigma Chi. Luke is a “dog-person” and his favorite breeds are Australian Shepherd and Doberman Pinscher. He has a very intelligent Aussie puppy named Bodie, and enjoys playing baseball.

Kaitlyn is from Danville, and is a graduate of Boyle County High School She attended Asbury University. She has a keen interest in horses and has ridden saddleseat since she was a child. Her other interests include spending time with family and friends, animal rescue, travel, and showing horses. She has a saddlebred, one pony, two cats, three dogs, and ducks and chickens.

Courtney joined our team in November 2014 and hails from Garrard County. She has an Associates Degree in Science. Courtney is a “dog-person” and her favorite breeds are pit bulls and dachshunds. In her free time she enjoys her family, riding her dirt bike, going camping at the lake, and doing anything with animals! She has a 7-year-old Texas Heeler named Roper, and 2 cats.

Gentry Brown has worked at Commonwealth since July 2018. She graduated cum laude from Centre College in May 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Gentry is a “cat-person” with a rambunctious kitten named Flea, but her favorite dog breed is a Labrador Retriever. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, and staying active outdoors!

Gentry is currently at Auburn University working towards her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. We are so proud of her and know she will accomplish great things. You might see her at CAH from time to time when she is home from school on breaks.

Amy joined CAH in August 2018. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2002 and is a Registered Nurse. She has always loved animals and feels like she has found her calling working here at Commonwealth Animal Hospital. Amy is a dog lover and her favorite breeds are Chihuahuas and Dachshunds. She enjoys camping, swimming, and church with her children, Heath and Macy. Amy has two dogs, Chip and Chloe, who absolutely LOVE coming to the clinic!
